Working closely with one of the biggest beauty brands in the world, Momentum Instore developed a bespoke retail asset tracking service.

By applying unique numbers and barcodes to anything from instore furniture to specific items of stock, we were able to provide an online asset database for our client.

Once the brief was agreed, we set out to source tamper resistant tags to kick start the project. Over a three week period we averaged over 1,500 tags per day with our trained merchandising teams. During these three weeks we applied 24,000 asset tags, in 4,500 stores. Not only this but we provided our client with 40,000 photographs and 73,000 audit notes whilst we were there. That gives you a pretty clear vision of what’s in your stores.

Our project management team were there throughout the whole programme, and will manage and keep this data up to date as part of an ongoing maintenance programme.




 

Results

We completed 99.5% of stores right first time to achieve our client’s objectives. We tagged 24,000 items and increased our pool of skilled resource by 66 to deliver the project within the time frame.
