Momentum Instore is proud to have completed Europe’s largest installation project in history following the installation of new National Lottery point of sale items in 37,000 stores across the UK.
Marking the completion of the most expansive installation project in Europe, the 19-week roll-out of new units included the updating of the National Lottery Playstation, Scratchcard dispenser and updated National Lottery signage, including pavement, window and wall signs.
Prior to the roll out, we completed pre calls to all retailers to give full visibility of the updates. We utilised our regional hubs to accommodate and manage all the stock during inbound and outbound activity. Our innovative reporting system allowed us to answer 1,524,801 questions for Camelot, whilst ensuring that each new stand was photographed and signed off by the store manager.
At the project’s peak, we had over 240 installers out on the road and 32 full time employees working on delivering this installation right first time. In addition, Momentum handled the removal and disposal of redundant kit as it was replaced, with over 781 tonnes of waste recycled.
"This massive undertaking by Momentum Instore came in on time and well within budget. The updated kit will boost The National Lottery’s in-store presence to further drive sales and returns to Good Causes, as well as add further value to retailers’ businesses. It will also ensure the point of sale items are fit for purpose until the end of Camelot’s extended licence period in 2023."
Camelot’s Head of Retail and Gaming, Nik Anyon.
Momentum Instore completed this project 99.3% right first time. During the roll out, we installed 6,658,079 parts, took over 305,000 photographs and recycled 781 tonnes of waste..
